Rules for posting ads

In no event do we accept liability of any description for the posting of any unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene or indecent information, or material of any kind which violates or infringes upon the rights of any other person, including without limitation any transmissions constituting or encouraging conduct that would constitute a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable law. TCI Classifieds is an open medium where users can advertise whatever they wish provided that this is within reason and in compliance with any legal limitations.

You are solely responsible for all information that you submit to TCI Classifieds and any consequences that may result from your advertisement. We reserve the right to refuse or delete or edit advertisements that we believe are inappropriate.

Common rules

• You’re only allowed one account;
• No contact details in titles or descriptions. Please add them to the appropriate fields.
• Be honest and as descriptive as possible with the item you are selling.
• Please post the true cost of your item. One-dollar ($1) ads and items with unrealistically low prices for the purposes click baiting will be removed.
• Please provide clean, clear, and accurate photos and videos of your item.
• Posting of links to other websites in your ad is not allowed.
• Choose the category that best fits your item. Do not post the same ad in multiple categories.
• Please post one ad per item, and one item per ad. Again, do not post duplicate ads.
• Only post items that belong to you and that are in your possession. If you do not currently have your item, please wait until you have it before you sell it.
• Spam will not be tolerated. This includes ad spam and keyword spamming in ads.
• Please take down your ad once your item is sold or is no longer available.
• You shall not misuse our facility by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.

Forbidden Goods

• Adult-only products and adult-entertainment services including, but not limited to, pornography, enhancement drugs, sex toys, erotic products, prostitution, escort services, etc.
• Alcohol
• Cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, liquid for smoking and related products;
• Competing websites;
• Stolen goods;
• Dangerous and/or illegal gases and substances;
• Drugs and drug paraphernalia;
• Medication only available by prescription;
• Digital items or accounts including, but not limited to, gaming accounts, accounts with multiple device allowances, and digital copies of movies or books, stocks, cryptocurrencies and other securities.
• Trade in human beings;
• Weapons including firearms and ammunition (including accessories); swords, knives, self-defense sprays, stun guns, etc.
• Fireworks and explosives
• Historical artifacts / protected heritage goods;
• Threatened / protected wild life, plants and insects;
• Meats and seafood that are out of season;
• Personal information or mailing lists;
• Political or other propaganda;
• Threatening, discriminating, violent or offensive behavior;
• Any kind of currency (except for numismatic purposes);
• Gift cards, vouchers, coupons, tickets, gift certificates;
• Fortune-telling, magical services, supplies and goods;
• Online and offline money loans and credit services;
• Multilevel Marketing (MLM), Pyramid, Ponzi, and other referral schemes

TCI Classifieds reserves the right to remove ads containing any of the above or are otherwise considered unsuitable by TCI Classifieds for display on the website.

If you advertise any of the above forbidden goods, provide false contact details, or impersonate another party, we reserve the right to pass your details and IP address on to any law enforcement agency.

Privacy and Security

TCI Classifieds may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We advise you to read it regularly. Substantial changes to our Privacy Policy will be announced on our website. The amended Privacy Policy will be effective immediately after it is first posted on our website.
